18 days in Valparaiso and I only counted 5 deserters when we left.

Sorry just noticed I spelt Valparaiso wrong on a few log pages.

5 deserters at Valparaiso and on 2nd day in Coquimbo, Chili, 10 declared stragglers.

Captain of BMS "Mutine" came on board.

Lost count of the names of crew who have been reported as deserters but when we sailed from Coquimbo, Chili it was reported that 24 members of the crew were reported as being absent.

I'll sign you up for sensitivity training. I think you need to connect with the crew's feelings and be more supportive of their needs.
