It's now May 7. After months of heading convoys among the outer Aleutian Islands during war, the most exciting log entry since the small fire onboard back in February:
2230 All liberty party returned on time except Giannone, Vittorio (662-661) S 1/c (Som) (R) who is under custody of NOB Kodiak, Shore Patrol.
2330 Giannone, Vittorio (662-661) S 1/c (Som) (R) brought aboard under custodity and placed on report by Lt (jg) E. B. Corrick, USCGR for the following offenses as reported by Shore Patrol, NOB Kodiak, Alaska: Drunk; disorderly and resisting arrest.

May is complete. I reserved June.

Another boring month. The most interesting entries were the ones recording the extra duty worked by Vittorio. 🥱

The tracker indicates that most of June is to be skipped.

The partial month of June is complete. It was slow going down the Inside Passage. The ship was in Seattle during July and the first part of August. I have reserved the last part of August.

The partial month of August is complete. At month's end, back in Dutch Harbor undergoing repairs and training. Still quite boring with just a few minor disciplinary issues reported.

I have reserved September.

November is complete and just as boring as previous months. Not even any mention of Thanksgiving. 🦃🥧 :(

At least there should be a lot of good weather data from the outer Aleutian Islands.

I have reserved December.
