USRC Perry ran aground on rocks off Tonki Pt. 27 July 1910. USRC Manning helped rescue crew.

Perry was left as a wreck.

'Owing to the majority of the crew of Perry coming on board without bedding or clothes...' :shock: :)
It must have been a fascinating sight for the locals to see ;)
