From Intrepid, 5+1 takes the barometer to NY... somewhere in here. Joan, where do you want me?

Hi Leelaht.
The Yantic (1883) is currently in NY, we must meet up for a drink somewhere.

A pair of 4s takes me from CCE to Famagusta. M200 in for passing Go and M2 to Leelaht please.
A pair of 3s takes me to Chance South. 14 is the RNG number. Seems I advance to SF AND get a Get out of Dry dock free card. Thanks.
Pay Leelaht again for my stop at SF.
3 and 6 takes me back past GO and once again to Famagusta.
Pay Leelaht again.
(I think she should be paying for the drinks, I've given her enough this round)

Just about anywhere you'd like really...stick a pin in the map 😉😄

My go. Dog throws 2+5 so moves from Halifax to the Bilge pumps. So that's 70M to Michael :)

It's actually M4 for Famagusta, since leelaht owns the entire color group, which means rent is doubled.

Not sure what you mean by this, Michael - are you saying you aren't able to take your turns yourself?
Or did you fail to get out of Drydock?

I’m not going to try and roll a double, so I will just sit in Drydock for three turns, if that’s OK.

I'm opposed to letting people just sit out their turns in Drydock, since you can't lose money while you're in there.
What do the rest of you guys think?

I think you should roll the dice where ever you are.

I can sympathize, but I've also been in the position where drydock is a safe haven - can make money without risk of needing to give money to others. So rolling and get doubles first try - out you go. Tough love.

OK. I’m fine with rolling. I used the two dice roller from near the top of this topic. My first roll was 6 & 5. My second roll is 5 &4. I’m not sure if it was time for my second term or not. Back in 24 hours.

Lighthouse rolls 4+1=5>> Dutch Harbor to Shanghai and I therefore owe Chris some serious money. This place is done up with an extra sail! I am going to suddenly feel the impact of my meager holdings.

Stay well and safe all.
Full Speed ahead.

Barometer is leaving NY: 6 + 6, pass Go return to port Galipoli. I'm going to add a sail here.

6 + 6 (hmmm, maybe magic dice roller is broken) Base Ship Tamar, also mine.

4 + 2 (not broken, but seems to like 6s) Halifax, I don't think I've been here before. Pay up to the holystone.

Looks like time for Capt Dog to go for it.
2+6 =8 so onwards to Chemulpho ( does anyone know how this place is properly pronounced please?).
Where I owe Chris M24. Please could you transfer the cash from my post to Chris please Mr CFO? 😉

I think that this starts a new round.

Woof..and off we go with 2+1=3
So I pad along to San Francisco and owe Leelaht M26.

Right...off to rest my paws for a while. 🐕🐾

4 and 2 takes me to Dutch Hbr.
Please pay Joan M60

Joan, it's pronounced Chemulpho.

If it should have been Chemulpo (a port in W South Korea, ) then here is how it is pronounced. "tʃɛmʊlˈpəʊ" or just listen on this site.

Lighthouse in Shanghai Roll 3+6=9>> Bilge Pumps Owned by Michael- and I own the other. I guess that is M90 to him.
Shanghai is the biggest port in the world- (43 Mill TEU) compared to my little Long Beach Harbor (22th at 8 Million TEU) If you combine LB and Los Angeles- you still come up with only 18 Million. Puts things in perspective.
I will fess up- I had to look up what a TEU is ---- Twenty-foot Equivalent Unit.

Sorry Joan, I made a whoopsie here and forgot to update your position in the table - you were actually on the Bilge Pumps, not Halifax.
So this means the 8 takes you to Chance (East).
I used the RNG for 16, and got 2, which is:
You lose your Larboard boat crew in fog. They go to San Francisco. Pay M25 to each player to 'replace' your crew.
And finally, the 3 from your next turn takes you to Scapa Flow, so that's M50 to Michael.

Now for me:
Result of the dice: 1 + 1 = 2
You got a double!
You landed on Pearl Harbor

Result of the dice: 4 + 2 = 6
You landed on Chest (East) and got card No. 2
Your log keeper notes 'mind shifting from W to NW'. Advance to the Crow's Nest to find yourself. If you pass 'GO' collect M200.
M110 to leelaht for Pearl Harbor, but M200 from the Crow's Nest and another M200 for passing Go on the way 8-)

Important announcement: The game is now on hold until July 17th, as starting Friday, I will be on vacation with no computer.
