Re: New ship histories
Thanks!
It has been a pleasure to read them again (and see how many naive errors I made while transcribing )

Re: New ship histories
Our 313th Royal Navy log edit has been published. HMS Durban, 1921 to 1923, with three Journey Plotter maps, was edited by Rosemary, with much appreciated geographical assistance from Matteo (working out the illegible and unfindable locations), and some finishing up work from Maikel and me. A team effort.
Sadly, Chris is no longer here to greet our second-last RN ship, so here is a poem by me. Commissions taken. Just kidding.
The Royal Navy ships proceeded
Now all but one are home to stay
Cruiser Durban is safely docked
And Cambrian is underway

Re: New ship histories
Additional, non-noon positions have been added to the journey of H.M.S. Lepanto (August 1918 to November 1918).
They add more detail to her North Atlantic convoying operations.
Also, corrections have been made, and additional information from the logs has been added.

Re: New ship histories
Nearly 150 non-noon positions have been added to the journey of H.M.S. Goliath (January to April 1915).
Only 4 months, but it takes her from South Africa to a month's operations off Mafia Island and Zanzibar, and then to action at the Dardanelles.

Re: New ship histories
Hundreds of calculated positions have been added to the journey of HMS Acacia (1915-1916) in Journey Plotter.
Adding more detail to her minesweeping duties off Scotland, including a trip to Bear Island, Svalbard, Norway and Russia, and then to the Mediterranean, patrolling off North Africa and convoying between Gibraltar and Malta.

Re: New ship histories
This is unusual. It's one of mine! The edited logs of USC&GSS Yukon II have been published, with five Journey Plotter maps.
These logs cover the years from 1899 to 1923, in various chunks. The logs for 1899, 1911, 1913, and 1914 had not been previously transcribed.
