And back to my countdown rhymes!

Six little warships,
In the Maldives.
One dropped the barometer
And then there were five!

HMS Eskimo has been revised.
More detail has been included from the logs, and some place names and positions have been corrected.

https://www.naval-history.net/OWShips-W ... Eskimo.htm

Dead-reckoning positions have been added to the journey of HMS Eskimo in Journey Plotter.
It adds quite a bit of detail, especially to her patrolling duties in the North Atlantic.

HMS Eskimo is quite special to us, back in the day she was edited by Gordon Smith.

HM Trawler Saxon has been revised.
More detail has been included from the logs, some formatting changes, and links to scanned pages have been duplicated for each day, the logs recorded two or more days per page.
Noon positions have been added for each day, determined from mentioned landmarks or estimated, not a single position was recorded in the logs.

https://www.naval-history.net/OWShips-W ... _Saxon.htm

Hundreds of additional positions have been added to HM Trawler Saxon's journey in Journey Plotter.

It's another one of Gordon's.
Had he been born some decades earlier he could have seen the trawler sail passed Penarth.

On this voyage HMS Eclipse escorted Royal Australian Navy's submarines AE1 and AE2 from Portsmouth to Colombo.

Where available additional positions have been added to her journey in Journey Plotter.

Gordon's HMS Snipe has been revised.

Positions have been added for each day.
No positions were recorded in these logs, nor were many landmarks mentioned.
The positions are therefore estimates, based on the hours sailed.
Also, one or two corrections, and more detail has been included from the logs.
