- each section of the log must be transcribed by three different transcribers

Notes
- *Sections A, B, C, and D will be transcribed last to allow for transcription of ice data to be collected as soon as possible.
- The logbook in sections E and F switches between Civil and Sea time. The captain writes which time on top left or in left margin of the pages. Port, or when stuck in ice he switches to Civil time, when sailing or able to move he switches to Sea time.
- There are a couple of interesting notes after returning to Honolulu as the Captain shares a wee bit about his journey home.
- Please see comments on sections B and D as these two sections may contain content some may prefer to avoid.
