8.0 co & speeds as req for finding(?) TBDs & Trawlers. Proceeded into Dardanelles - stopped off De Totts Battery.
Jed proceeded with Chief of Staff to locate "Ocean" & "Irresistible"

19th March

1.0 (am) No sign of "Ocean" & "Irresistible" reported from Dardanelles by Chief of Staff
Proceeded from entrance of Dardanelles for Tenedos 12 kts
2.40 anchored

9.45 proc'd for patrol
11.0 Mastered spirits & found correct. Gunner. co & speeds as req. for patrol

5.50 Formed single line ahead
6.35 came to with stbd. anchor - Foul billet
6.40 weighed stbd. anchor foul of Blenheim's cable
6.50 fouled Blenheim.
7.0 Slipped Stbd cable at 4th shackle in 11 fms
7.20 came to with Port anchor in 10 fms, veered 3.5 shackles
