You can read the article only if you're a subscriber.

There is this article on Wikipedia.

Gil Compo, head of the science team, is off for a week. On his return, he will write something for our forum about the super El Nino of 1877-1878 and the Renoir project. That project has just started, so there is very little on their website right now.

It also tells me that I have to subscribe.

Are you a subscriber? If so, maybe it knows that even if you don't log in.

I just want to confirm that in the Tracker spreadsheet we're only required to place 'D' as the completion marker now, is that correct?

Yes.
In truth, is is a bit of a duplication with the information in the spreadsheet topic here in the forum, but it is helpful when there are multiple transcribers.
