Whilst I have access to the OW drive I am speaking about my Personal drive accessed via My Drive.

Yes, I understand. On the OW drive, the 369 files for Lancaster 1883 take up only 1.1 MB. You'd need to transcribe a lot of ship-years to make a dent on your space.

I was unable to download new images for USS Lackawanna.
It appears that the addresses for the images in the National Archives have been changed, so the image links in the URL list of the spreadsheet no longer work.

In the forum topics, the NARA URL links are still correct, but the JPG Links do not currently work. I will start fixing them tomorrow.
Let me know which ships I should start with.

I have fixed the URLs in the Lackawanna spreadsheet. It has been uploaded to the usual place, and it can be found here.

The URLs for the logbook images were changed by the National Archives and Record Administration, NARA. In 2022, they moved all their files from their servers to the Amazon cloud. About three weeks ago, they moved them all back. The spreadsheets need the new URLs. The correct URLs have catalog.archives.gov at the start. The ones for images on the Amazon cloud had amazonws in the URL.

You need to download the latest version of your spreadsheet. It has the correct URLs. (Note: I was a little lazy and didn't update the version number of the spreadsheet. Just the URLs on the URL_List tab were changed.) The link for all the spreadsheets are here.

If it has been a long time since you have had to set up the index and file number for your current ship, this slide
https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/ ... b45816_0_0 might make it clearer.

Note: you can download the latest version of your spreadsheet now. Because the image filename has not changed, the new version of the spreadsheet will work with your currently downloaded files. You just will not be able to download new images with your old version of the spreadsheet.
