For September 16, most of the AM weather data is obscured by an insert. There is no separate image with the insert moved over to the event page. I transcribed the AM values that were visible. All PM weather was visible.

September 18; still at Callao, Peru:

6AM
dressed ship, rainbow fashion, following motions of Chilian vessels, and placing their ensign at the main, it being their "Independance day".
Noon
fired a salute of 21 guns in honor of "Chilian Independance day" in company with the Chilian man-of-war in harbor.

September 22, been in Callao, Peru forever:

8AM to Meridian:
Sent an officer with a squad of Marines and Master-at-arms on board. on board the American ship C.C. Chapman, the crew of which vessel refused duty, placed 10 men in irons awaiting action of U.S. Consul.

September is complete. Another month of sitting in the port at Callao, Peru. Another month overcast with mist or drizzle almost the entire month. Another month with no liberty because of the port being quarantined.
