Noondressed ship, rainbow fashion, following motions of Chilian vessels, and placing their ensign at the main, it being their "Independance day".
Sunsetfired a salute of 21 guns in honor of "Chilian Independance day" in company with the Chilian man-of-war in harbor.

September is complete. Another month of sitting in the port at Callao, Peru. Another month overcast with mist or drizzle almost the entire month. Another month with no liberty because of the port being quarantined.
