Not exactly Scrabble...
Re: Not exactly Scrabble...
In H06 add an O you will see FODA which is cool or amazing in Brazilian slang. You also get MOW, which is also the rumble going on in the neighborhood this morning. The funny from my brother-in-law in the Mid-west last week was "I wonder if I put all the gas in the lawn mower last week, or if I have a little left for the snow blower today."

Re: Not exactly Scrabble...
This just flashed into my mind.
13th April 1841 – The first photograph was taken in Australia by a visiting naval captain, (I20-I14) Captain (K13-K19) Augustin (P06-P02) Lucas.
Taking of the first photograph in Australia seems to have been a rather casual affair.
On 13 April 1841 the Australasian Chronicle announced the arrival of the daguerreotype in New South Wales: “The inhabitants of Sydney will now have the opportunity of witnessing the effects of this very singular invention, one of the instruments having been brought to the colony by Captain Lucas, late commander of the Naval School expedition”

Re: Not exactly Scrabble...
To fill up a line I was going to use this "April 28, 1789 Mutiny on the HMS (B20-B15) Bounty" as it leaves more scope for filling the rest of the lines.
Looks like I am using this one to in fill a line
“Houston, we’ve had a problem”! April 11, 1970 (G13-G08) Apollo 13 launched from Cape Kennedy. Fifty-six hours later, she suffered a catastrophic explosion that crippled the ship. Fortunately, the astronauts were able to return home unharmed.

In Australia today (22/04/2024) it is (B19-B15) Bluey day.
If you don't know who Bluey is, ask almost any kid.

You could fit Share in at L19 down. I lose the Battle of Concord at M13 -19 but I can live with that being as we lost the battle anyway.
None of my planned words would help either.

To fill another line.
Easter (F19-F15) Bunny
Two different sources.
According to some sources, the Easter Bunny first arrived in America in the 1700s with German immigrants who settled in Pennsylvania and transported their tradition of an egg-laying hare called “Osterhase” or “Oschter Haws.” Their children made nests in which this creature could lay its colored eggs.
Easter egg hunts are thought to have begun in the 1700s when the Pennsylvania Dutch believed in Oschter Haws, an egg-laying hare who eventually became known as the Easter bunny. Children would search through the grass to find eggs left behind by Oschter Haws, starting the familiar pastime.

M 15 Across Witch Apparently, in Central and Northern Europe they have bonfires to ward off witches April 30- May1. Sounds like Halloween in Spring. Its called actually St Walpurgis night. I think it is either very old warding off pests, whooping cough and rabies, or it is the new revised event in advance of a day off for Workers' day and other May Day celebrations. No mention if they have marshmallows choc and graham crackers at this bonfire.
